This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills required to safely undertake the tasks, duties and responsibilities required when taking charge of a survival craft on an offshore installation.

The course is a combination of theoretical and practical sessions. Students are assessed continuously during the course.
Current medical certificate.
Theory assessment followed by practical assessment which takes place when the student is ready/has shown that they can perform all tasks required. The assessment will involve mustering, boarding, launching and handling of a survival craft.
To maintain current competency, it is recommended that refresher training occurs regularly. Depending on the industry you work in this may vary. Current industry recommendations are every five years.
A MEDICAL is MANDATORY prior to course commencement.
