Scotty’s studies and competencies come from the School of Hard knocks provided by the safety focused energy industry. Over the past 35 years he has been providing learning experiences for workers from many industries with a key focus on practical hazard/risk management, emergency response and frontline leadership development. His main focus now is helping our frontline leaders develop the fundamental competencies required to look after their teams and provide a safe environment for them. This is carried out by focusing on the “People” skills that are so often forgotten when frontline leaders take on their new role. Scotty is now residing in Taranaki and is available to assist in developing a learning opportunity to suit a client’s specific requirements and also available for consultancy on HSE matters.
